Healthy Skin

There is a fundamental difference between the concept of Eastern and Western beauty. While in the East is to improve the quality of the body itself, in the West is measured and what their status is active against specific situations (wrinkles, sagging, cellulite, etc..). In Japan, the way to achieve beauty is to "healthy" skin. In the West, we try to "erase" wrinkles. Insists on this idea Kayoko Nakajima, head of marketing for the new line of Shiseido Future Solution LX "is tata beautify skin without makeup, this is just an accessory. The important thing is to make the skin beautiful in itself. "That is why research in the field of beauty are geared more to know how to restore the skin and make it work properly that treat the signs of aging itself. In this sense, for example, when studies on the effects of a cosmetic on the skin also studied what effects it has on the mind. It measures the level of relaxation, the pulse, the state of fatigue or if the person feels more energetic.

Japanese beauty

The Japanese believe that if they use cosmetics "are beautiful" (84%) and "will be fine even if they are old" (77%). As age increases, increases the feeling that it is essential to use cosmetics to keep the skin beautiful, but also increases the pleasure of skin care. In this sense, place great importance on facial cleansing as the basis for skin health: 90% of Japanese use cleaner and tonic. And, unlike Spanish, tonic considered as one of the essential cosmetics for cleaning and balancing the skin. According to the sociologist, the reason is that traditionally in Japan use the water as an act of purification, which is part of the rituals of the Shinto religion. This also explains how they are washed daily the Japanese: they shower with soap and water and once they are clean, they enter the bath, never submerge "dirty" in the water.

One of the major characteristics of Japanese beauty ideal is finding a very white skin and perfect. Something hard to get, as their skin contains more melanin than Westerners (hence the yellow color) and tans more easily, as you can see from the population of agricultural areas (hence also suffer a lower rate of skin cancer). As in many other cultures, including the West until the middle of last century, white skin has been for hundreds of years especially appreciated as it was for the upper classes that should not work and therefore not exposed to the sun. Therefore, women in Japan who could wore makeup her face white, with very red lips and black eyebrows: the typical image of the geisha. Traditionally in Japan says that "white skin hides seven problems of the skin," and that "it seems very beautiful and hidden defects" in the words of Otsubo.

BODY DECORATION

TREE COMMON TYPES OF BODY DECORATION ARE MEHNDI, TATTOOING, AND SCARIFICATION. MEHNDI IS THE ART OF APPLYING DYE TO THE SKIN OF WOMEN IN INDIA, ISLAMIC CULTURES, AND AFRICA. THE DYE COMES FROM THE HENNA PLANT AND IS APPLIED IN A BEAUTIFUL DESIGN THAT VARIES FROM CULTURE TO CULTURE- FINE, THIN LINES IN INDIA AND LARGE FLOWER PATTERNS IN THE ARAB WORLD, FOR EXAMPLE. A TATTO IS ALSO A DESIGN OR MARK MADE WITH A KIND OF DYE; HOWEVER, UNLIKE HENNA, IT IS PUT INTO A CUT IN THE SKIN. IN SCARIFICATION- FOUND MAINLY IN AFRICA-DIRT OR ASHES ARE PUT INTO THE CUTS INSTEAD OF DYE; THE RESULT IS A DESIGN THAT IS UNIQUE TO THE PERSON´S TRIBE. THREE LINES ON EACHSIDE OF A MAN´S FACE INDENTIFY HIM AS MEMBER OF THE YORUBA TRIBE OF NIGERIA, FOR EXAMPLE. A COMPLEX GEOMATRIC DESIGN ON A WOMAN´S BACK IDENTIFIES HER AS NUBA AND ALSO MAKES HER MORE DEAUTIFUL IN THE EYES OF HER PEOPLE. IN THE 1990S, TATTOOING BECAM POPULAR AMONG YOUTH IN URBAN WESTERN SOCIETES. UNLIKE PEOPLE IN TRIBAL CULTURES, THESE YOUNG PEOPLE HAD NO TRADITION OF TATTOOING WERE BEAUTIFUL AND WERE SOMETIMES ALSO A SIGN OF REBELLION AGAINST OLDER, MORE CONSERVATIVE PEOPLE IN THE CULTURE. THESE DAYS, TATTOOING HAS BECOME COMMON AND IS USUALLY NOT SYMBOLIC OF REBELLION.

Types of animal communication

One type of animal communication is based on natural signs learned: the smells, sounds, postures or other activities from the repertoire of behavior within a given species (an example would be the "dance of honey" in certain bees, which their movements indicate the direction and distance of food sources.) Other signs of the animal world are products of learning, as when the young animal learns the behavior of their parents or of humans with whom they interact.

Other type of animal communication is through pheromones. Bees produce several types of pheromones, especially queens. Pheromones to break free from the external environment influence the behavior of other animals of their species.

We can also observe communication through sound which is a language in the strict sense. In animals this type of communication leads to barking, roaring, singing of birds, crickets, buzzing etc.

Cultural Globalization

 Cultural Globalization...

The Globalization affects not only the economy but also to the culture. Not long ago, when communications were difficult, ways of life and customs were very different from one place to another. Each company had its particular way of dressing, preparing food, to interact with others or to entertain. Currently, in our interconnected world, these differences are giving way to dominant cultural models that are spreading throughout the world with cultural globalization.

Among the features of this process we note the following:

  • The global interconnectedness is extending certain customs and ways of life around the globe.
  •    The cultures of different peoples are becoming more common aspects.
  •      The most widely spoken languages spread rapidly worldwide.
  •      Some important ideas, such as respect for human rights or the value of democracy are spreading to all corners of the Earth.

LANGUAGE

GOOD NIGHT FRIENDS! TODAY I CAN SAY THAT...

The language can be defined as a communication system, as this allows us to receive and communicate information. It is also said that is the way for the human to communicate, although I must add that it is not only human beings but also of being animal, as they through a different language also have the ability to communicate.
It is expressed by a set of oral and written signs and through meaning communication is performed. Can also be interpreted as the set of sounds and words that expresses or communicates the thought.

SINCE THEN WE CLEAR THE CONCEPT OF COMMUNICATION AND LANGUAGE CAN SAY THAT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THESE CONCEPTS ARE:

  •  Communication is the final process or process larger and the language is just part of it, a fundamental part clear.
  • Communication is the exchange of ideas, feelings, expressions, is the interaction between two or more persons and language is the means by which they communicate, ie the bond that unites the sending the message and the recipient.
